The regular Friday morning ride from the Lime Tree has been attracting up to 150 riders. Due to the popularity of this ride, the ever increasing traffic and our prime concern being safety, support vehicles are now following the main bunch (80km, 120, and 140km).

The support car vehicles are there to assist in making your ride as safe as possible and are equiped with flashing lights, signboards and first aid kits. They are also there to assist riders who run into problems i.e. punctures. In the summer months the vehicles also carry extra drinking water.

All this is done on a voluntary basis and all help is therefore greatly appreciated. You do not need a 4-wheel drive. It is expected that all riders volunteer at least once to twice per year to drive a support car (or nominate someone else to do it for you).

There is also the possibility of using Suresh as a driver to drive your car. Just sign up on the volunteer form and put Suresh's name in brackets. On the day it will be your responsibility to provide him with your car at Lime Tree and to pay him Dhs 150,--.
You can also use a driver with car. Deposit Dhs 200,-- in an envelope mentioning your name, email address and mobile number at Wolfis Bike Shop.
